The following news and improvements are included::

Further improved MARK function.

Frequency meter (by pushing the ENTER button in search mode) to indicate frequency deviations of older or defective analog beacons!

As a further novelty PIEPS presents the “smart transmitter“ as a product upgrade:

In normal transmitting mode the receiver is working in the background as well. In case of other beacons transmitting in the near proximity (about 5 meters), this signal is being analyzed in order to place the own transmitter signal right in between the the signals of the other beacon. This results in the following advantages:

No more overlap of transmitter signals
The “smart transmitter“ features even more advantages in case of multiple burials
Same advantage for any other beacon
Even faster and more accurate location than before
Independent of the search method being used
